Back to college!

Its our second week back and Im still trying to take everything in! Over summer we were set a jacket project and we bascially had to research current and future trends, fabrics and colours, customer profile and retail and online trends!
When we arrived back to college we were briefed on our new project and put into groups! I am with two deisgners and two other promoters so we are going to be working on this jacket project all together!
Our project is based on the theme 'Traces' which is to do with personal and collective memorys so it is quite a broad theme which is great as theres alot we can do with the theme and take it in lots of directions!
The brief has been created by fashion awareness Direct which has been incorporated into our curriculum and gives us the oppourtunity to enter the 2010 fad competetion, however only three groups can be enetered into the competition.
We have been given the outcomes that are expected from the brief so basically me an my group our just tryin to arrange regular meetings to start with so we can balance out the work load evenly and to make sure everyone knows what they are doing in the team! We have a few ideas already which is good so we are all trying to get some research to take to our next meeting which is tomorow!
